Chinese New Year Celebrations 2006 |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The Beach Hut welcomed the year of the DOG on February 11, 2006 with the most
spectacular event of the Chinese New Year festivities - the dragon/lion
dance. The crowds gazed with awe as the dragon snaked his way through the
crowd, making sure that most onlookers had the opportunity to witness the
centrepiece of the celebrations. Great anticipation and excitement filled
the air as the nimble-footed lions danced to the steady beat of the drums.
The Beach Hut bustled with excitement and nowhere was this reflected more
than in the sea of well wishers and customers who had turned out to join
the celebrations. |

What better way to usher in the new year than to let your hair down and
party with some close friends. The transition to a new year is always exciting
in itself, but a great New Years Eve party sends it over the edge. At The
Beach Hut, anything goes . . . in our casual, rustic setting - no need to
dress up, simply dress down . . . come check us out! |
